Thailand extends visa waiver

The  Thai government has approved the extension of the visa-on-arrival fee waiver for citizens of 20 countries until 30 April. 
Previously, the exemption of the visa-on-arrival fee was from 15 November 2018, to 13 January 2019.
 
The list of countries eligible for the visa-on-arrival fee waiver until 30 April is: Citizens of Andora, Bulgaria, Bhutan, mainland China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. 
 
All will be exempt from the THB2,000 visa-on-arrival fee for the purpose of touring in Thailand for not more than 15 days.
