Hamilton to leave Darwin Convention Centre

Janet Hamilton is to leave her role as general manager of the Darwin Convention Centre, Australia.

Hamilton who has been in the role since August 2013, will move to a yet to be announced management role with the AEG Ogden Group.

 

During her time as general manager, the Centre has won the National MEA Award for Meeting Venue 500 delegates or more, Brolga Awards,, a Gold Plate and has been ranked in the top 20 Convention Centres globally by the Association of International Congress Centres (AIPC) for four years running.
Hamilton’s final day at the Centre will be 08 of March.
