Qantas group in waste initiative

Australia's Qantas and sister carrier Jetstar are getting rid of plastic frequent flyer cards and un-needed paper including boarding passes and operating manuals in what the Group describes as a major environmental push, aiming to cut its landfill waste totals by 75 per cent by the end of 2021.
In addition to the above, about 100 million single-use plastic items (mainly wrappers) will go from flights and lounges.
